November 15th was the deadline of announcing the list of retained players for IPL 2026. IPL Retentions 2026 lists surprised a bit, and put some big names on the table. The players who were big fish, and were been retained in last year’s auction, will again appear in next month’s mini-auction. KKR (64.3cr) and CSK (43.4cr) will come with biggest purse and will lead the bidding war on the table.
Glenn Maxwell, Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis big names released by the franchises. We will see Liam Livingston as well in the auction.
KKR List of Released Players
Big news from KKR side is they released Andre Russel after 11 years. Russell was retained by KKR in mega-auction last year. Another name Venkatesh Iyer was the biggest buy (23.75Cr) for KKR last year released as well. It’s possible they will go again after the V. Iyer in mini-auction and will try to get him in lower price. As they are coming with biggest purse. Below is the complete list of KKR released players.
